Traveling has many issues and perks.... Issues include being away for important dates and sometimes also loosing things that are important to you.
Perks.... as I saw in the movie In the air you always have to use your cards.... all is about the points and you always maximize those. I hace so many frecuent traveler cards of Hotel's, airlines, rental car's and any other that help making travel more rewarding.
In July I took my family for a trip where I used the perks I got in my business travel. I went to London, Paris and Gent. Flew AA before the issues they have now. Got my tickets in coach and upgraded the trip to Business using my VIP Upgrades with them. Great advantage. Used the Marriott Grovernors Square in London, Marriott Champs Ellysee in Paris and Marriott in Gent. All with my Points. Hertz... same thing... got rental car using my points as well.
That maked the trip low cost and luxury all over.
We had time in London before the Olimpics and that was a great time for visiting that place. Great city to live and visit.
Paris also was nice. My kids enjoyed the time there with Bastille day. Nice walks and good time.
Gent and Belgium was a great place to finish as the kids were open for fun and relaxed after two weeks traveling.
Great time to enjoy the perks of hard working.
