I took a few days off my travel craziness. Not so usual but important in a season when family is at the core center of all.
I was in the US after my Europe trip and South East US to be specific. The big Texas and Alabama traveling and Miami at home.In Alabama I saw the good people from the South and the quality of life of small town USA. People there can go home for lunch if they want that. Big difference with big city approach of running all day long.
Thanksgiving at home was good. The full family was at home and my mother was visiting. My cook was very good, based on what the attendees indicated. That Turkey was juicy and soft. Was a great dinner component. My stuffing was really nice and done using a Chilean recipe amended for materials not available at the time.
Now we are going into Christmas season. Interesting times. Have a great season!!
